Lund vs Schmauss
Could it get any hotter in the Midwest? With no let up from the heat in the near future, the Midwest’s most popular promotion follow suit as they gear up for the next action packed event; MCC 42 “Lund vs. Schmauss”.
The main event of the evening features former light-heavyweight champion, Jesse Lund as he takes on powerhouse, Todd Schmauss.
Lund, who is coming off a loss where he relinquished his belt to Will “The Franchise” Dicke after four back and forth, hard-fought rounds, looks to get back in the winners circle, and more importantly, back on the road to recapturing his crown.
Schmauss, who is undefeated in mixed martial arts, albeit not nearly as active as many fighters, has cemented his place in the MCC highlight library by knocking out Omaha’s Josh Henry while making his MCC debut three years ago. Known for his strength, heart, and heavy hands, Schmauss hopes to make waves in the light-heavyweight division by taking out the top dog.
Also on the card, five-time UFC veteran Kevin “The Fire” Burns welcomes MCC newcomer, Brandon Becker, and UFC veteran John “Hurrican” Halverson returns to the cage to meet two-time fight of the night winner, Doug Jenkins in a lightweight contest. The Lewis Twins, Jason & Jeff, will make history as they will compete on the same card. Other notables; Michael McBride, Jeramiah Deever, Chris Fannon vs Roy Moore along with many more!
