Event Details

Join us at Casey's Center for two nights of rodeo action, January 8 & 9. Rodeo fans can expect a trifecta of fun with action, entertainment, and intense competition on the menu.

Fans can experience the grit, athleticism and excitement of professional rodeo as top cowboys and athletes go head-to-head in events including bull riding, bareback riding, saddle bronc riding and more. From the moment the dirt hits the arena floor, fans will be treated to an action-packed experience that showcases the incredible skill and determination of the sport’s elite competitors.

Fans are encouraged to come early for the pre-show down on the dirt, where they can get up close to the action and enjoy a variety of family-friendly activities. Pre-show experiences will include pony rides, cowboy autographs, photo opportunities and more, giving fans a chance to make memories and experience rodeo from a whole new perspective.

Know Before You Go

Bag Policy

Casey's Center has a clear bag policy for all events. A maximum clear bag the size of 12"x6"x12" is permitted. Exceptions will be made for medical, family, or child care bags or small clutches no larger than 4.5"x6.5".

Cashless Facility

Casey's Center is a cashless facility, only accepting debit, credit, and gift cards. If you do not carry a debit or credit card, you can transfer cash onto a gift card at Overtime Tap (Section 108).

Mobile Ticketing

Tickets for all events at Casey's Center must be added to a digital wallet (Apple Wallet or Google Wallet) for entry. Barcodes will no longer display on tickets. Tickets will be scanned by tapping your phone on the scanner at the door. Learn more about Mobile Ticketing at Casey's Center.

Parking

Parking is available at the Iowa Events Center with entrances off 3rd Street and 5th Avenue.

If traveling from I-235 East, utilize Exit 8A to 3rd Street.
If traveling from I-235 West, utilize Exit 8A to 7th Street.

Meter parking is available throughout downtown Des Moines with the convenience of the ParkDSM app. Parking meters charge Monday through Saturday from 9am-9pm.

City parking garages are located throughout downtown with convenient skywalk access to the Iowa Events Center.

Group Information

Groups of 10+ save up to $7 per ticket.
