Charities and other non-profit groups requesting donation or auction items from the Iowa Events Center should submit a written request on their organizational letterhead to:

Please allow at least three (3) weeks for processing done by the Charity Committee.
The Iowa Events Center will contribute $250/$500 to your group for Post Event Cleaning. Volunteer groups go through the seating area picking up recyclables (Bottles, cans), picking-up garbage (food, napkins, etc.). This is a great way for team bonding while raising funds for your activities.
Groups need to have a volunteer pool of at least 15 persons over the age of 12 for $250 contributions and pool of at least 20 persons over the age of 12 for $500 contributions. We also suggest you have several adults with your group to ensure the kids stay on schedule.

Group Ticket Sales

OVG Hospitality works with local nonprofit organizations (NPOs) to help raise funds for their organization. Current NPOs include youth baseball, softball and soccer teams, high school bands, churches and university groups. NPOs provide volunteers to work in concession stands during Wells Fargo Arena events. OVG pays the NPO directly for their volunteers’ efforts. Volunteers must be 18 years of age or older, and NPOs must have 501c3 nonprofit status and have insurance.
